Mrs. Lombardo graduated cum laude, from UNC-Charlotte with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Philosophy. She continued her education at Central Piedmont Community College in the American Bar Association approved Paralegal Post-Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Mrs. Lombardo joined Arnold & Smith, PLLC in September 2007 where she primarily assists Attorney J. Bradley Smith with felony and misdemeanor criminal matters.
Mrs. Lombardo has over 6 years of experience as a Legal Assistant. However, her experience goes well beyond paralegal duties. Mrs. Lombardo worked for the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office assisting incarcerated defendants, at both Jail Central and Jail North, with pro se legal research and writing. She has also worked with adult and child victims of domestic violence by providing the victims with court assistance, counseling, and job placement through the Mecklenburg County Women’s Commission HERO program.
Mrs. Lombardo is the recipient of the National Sheriff’s Association Scholarship, Law Enforcement Memorial Scholarship and Dean – Reep Scholarship as well as a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Mrs. Lombardo has studied abroad in London and participated in a humanitarian trip to Embu, East Africa advocating for more appropriate sanitation and literacy guidelines and practices.
